Thanks to those who responded, and there were several.  The results,
lightly edited, are in /afs/cs/user/ritter/psy/public/bookstores.txt.
I haven't dealt with people downstairs since they told me someone
picked up my book, so if wanted it, I would have to pay again.

I ended up calling the Stanford bookstore (both books not in), the
Computer Science Literacy Bookstore (1 book not in, the other in),
Book Scientific (book not in).

Wordsworth Books corrected the citation I got from our libarary (!),
and sold me the second book in paperback (much cheaper), but they were
relatively high (4.50) for postage and handling.
