Subject: Mediocre anti-recommendation for Gatto Cycles

I have had two rather negative experiences with Gatto cycles recently:

1) A few months ago, I brought in a bike with two problems. They fixed
the first, charged me for the parts, and then could not fix the second
(bottom bracket), claiming they could not extract the part from the
bicycle without damaging the bicycle and that I would have to buy a
new bike. The shop where I went for a second opinion (In albany, ny)
pulled the part easily, claiming that it was not hard to pull at all.

2) Today I went to buy a bunch of spokes:
 a) They didn't give me spoke nipples 'til I reminded them that that
     might be nice.
 b) The nipples were the wrong size, anyway.
 c) Even though I handed them the wheel and said "Give me spokes for
this", I found (upon arriving back at my office) that the spokes
     are too short.

They have not quite sunk into my "never again" category, but their
service pales in comparison to, say, Kranick's.
