They were good enough that I got another pair for my parents. These do not stand up to "really good speakers", like Quads or high end KEFS, in my opinion, but the factor of 10 price difference in usually not worth paying. The company was fine to deal with, as I recall. A friend took a set on 30 day trial and returned them with no problem. I can't speak about their other products, but the Ensembles are a good deal.
