I have a Magnavox VCR that lost its tracking.  I went to D & D but then found
out that they charge a $80 flat rate.  I guess this is good if you suspect
major problems.  I didn't like this, so I went to C & D in Carnegie.  They
charge a more normal rate -- $35 to look at it + $35 an hour past the first
hour.  (I may be off by $5).  It ended up being about the same - $70 or $80
-- and this was with parts still under warranty.  I was happy with them
though.  They got it done faster than they originally promised and seemed
pretty nice.

For other electronic repairs, I've gone to J. Rudy.  I would have gone to
them but I needed someone who could do Magnavox warranty work.
