Subject: Country dancing

I know of three country dance halls in the area:

	Rodeo Dance Hall and Saloon
	Parkway Center Mall
	1165 McKinney Lane
	Pittsburgh, PA
	(412) 921-3388
2 lessons every night, usually one couple's dance and one line dance.

	Blacklite Saloon and Dance Hall
	2266 Lincoln Way
	White Oak, PA 15131
	(412) 664-4600
Open Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday nights.
2-3 lessons each night, but seems to be mostly line dances.
(The hall is lit with black light.)

	Spurz
	Rte. 8, Allison Park
	?

Rodeo is probably the best of the three. Rodeo and Blacklite both give
about equal time to line dancing and couple's dancing, and both allow line
dancing in the middle while couple's dancing is going on. I haven't been to
Spurz, and I haven't heard good things about it.

There are also many places in the area with country music nights. You can
call WDSY's weekend information line to find out the names of some of them:
(412) 333-WKND.
