I took my stereo receiver to Video-O-Video on Liberty Avenue in
Bloomfield to be fixed.  I was impressed.  I took it in on a Friday,
got the estimate on Monday and it was fixed by Tuesday.  The
estimate costs $25 which you pay before they look at it.  If you
chose to have your equipment fixed there then the estimate cost is
applied to the cost of the repairs.  They include a 45 day warranty
period.  

My repairs cost a total of $48 ($25 estimate + $23 for additional
work).  They did some work on the powerboard and switchboard.  They
did not have to order any parts.  My receiver is a Sony, but I got
the impression that they work on any brand of equipment.  They also
seem to fix a wide range of equipment.
