Subject: used record stores

Record-Rama:
    up north on McKnight Rd.
HUGE selection, with lots of hard-to-find stuff
    typically higher prices
records are stored in back room and you have to ask someone to bring out
the records you want to look at -- hence, no browsing!

Jerry's:
above Kinko's on Forbes in Oakland
large selection of all kinds, but condition of records is highly variable
    prices typically $3-$5

???:
2nd floor on Forbes in Oakland (across from Jerry's)
apparently specializes in 12" EPs/dance mixes???

Record Graveyard:
    on N. Craig
small selection, mainly Rock and Jazz, sometimes good for classical cutouts
almost all records in good condition
    typically $4-$5

Jim's:
    on Liberty in Bloomfield
very small selection, apparently phasing out records, mainly "alternative"
       records

Rediscovery:
    on E.Carson, Southside
very small selection, apparently phasing out records, mainly Rock
they reseal the albums in plastic, so you can't tell what condition
       they're in

Record Rubble:
downstairs, on Forbes between Murray & Shady, in Sq.Hill
medium selection, Rock, Jazz, Classical, Soundtracks
almost all Jazz & Classical in good condition
    typically $3-$5
    lots of cheap $1 albums
