In a previous entry, I summarized responses regarding the availability
of good guitar repairmen in the 'burgh. I wanted to add one more remark
to that list.

I recently tried out Pianos 'N Stuff's guitar guru, Mike Caldwell.
I had him do action and intonation adjustments and a pickup replacement
on one of my electrics, and I was quite pleased with the results.
I believe the labor was something like $32-$35, part of which was the
pickup replacement. The standard guitar setup was less than $20.
The turnaround time was also quite good; I dropped the guitar off
on a Saturday afternoon and got it back Tuesday evening.

Your mileage may vary.
