Subject: Guitar etc lessons

Let me recommend Bill Crock as an instructor for those interested in
lessons on Guitar, Mandolin, Bass, classical, acoustic or electric.  All
styles (Jazz, Folk, Rock, Blue Grass, etc).  Bill has been teaching for
about 14 years and although I've only been with him a few months, I
have found that he is uniformly interested in his students and in
teaching as an art rather than as a rote way of making money.  

Bill has worked in the U.S.  on a program for the guitar that is like
the Japanese Suzuki program for the violin.  This program starts the
child off VERY young and then looks toward beginning lessons at about 4
years old.  I think that the recommended age range is 4 to 12.  

Lessons are offered weekdays and Saturday.  Instrument rental is
available.  His current rate is $7/half-hour.  Call 521-4657 for more
