Doctor Bovik,

Here are responses I recieved, with regards to portrait photographers. I've
deleted respondee's names to protect the innocent. Thought you might be
interested!

John.

As far as I am concerned, there is only one photographer--

       Eddie Sumrok 361-1029

He is a pro. tell him xxxx told ya.

John,

I've used the Custom Frame shop on Murray Ave I
think it's called the Framesmith. You can put it together
yourself and save some money. If it's not an odd size shaped
they might have something available. It's not too hard
to put it together, they cut everything for you. And there
are coupons for the place that come in those coupon mail packages.
I have an extra if you want it

Don't have any pointers for a protrait photographer.

John,
We just had some photos taken at Jonas in Oakland on Craig St.
This is an expensive way to go, but the guy is really good. He was
recommended by a professional photographer to us. In the under-$100
category, there are various places like Olan-Mills (sp?) and Sears.
We went to Olan-Mills in Monroeville and were disappointed, but some
friends got some very nice portraits at Sears. Apparently, some of
these places have some really good photographers, but it is hard to
know in advance what you'll get unless you know who to see.

There's one in Craig St., between Forbes and 5th (more exactly, one
small block before the Pit.Nat.Bank, and the same side of the street,
i.e. right side when going to 5th).

Never used it, but the (framed) photos on the window look good ...
