There is a place called "Ritz Camera" in Monroeville Mall, part of a
national chain, that may do camera repair. A Ritz Camera store in
Charlottesville, VA, of similar size, repaired my 35 mm (they even did
it for free, as I was a regular customer.) This store may not have the
same policies as the one I used to go to, but if the mall is accessible
to you, you should call them and see if they think they could help you.
Anything like cleaning they could probably do without sending it away,
and it shouldn't cost an arm and a leg. Good luck!
