I recently obtained soft contacts through Eye and Ear. The service was
actually provided by an outfit called Lucas Lab (apparantly Eye and Ear
was overbooked and had some arrangements with them). If you have already
used soft contacts you can obtain their introductory offer of $30 for
a pair of lenses and $10 for a doctor's exam (see coupon of Eye and
Ear in yellow pages). I found the service good and the prices seem
to be the best in Pittsburgh. If you are buying soft contacts for the
first time like me you may have to pay $75 (instead of $30) for lenses,
heat disinfecting unit, various solutions and a 1 year service
and checkup contract. Extended wear soft contacts cost about $70 extra.
