Subject: Dentist disrecommendation

There's a dentist on Negley Ave: Martin Green. I think he's
mentioned in the Bovik file. Anyway, I went to him for about a year
and a half and he seemed like a really nice guy. He told me I
needed a new cap on one of my back teeth. I figured he knew what
he was doing (he offered me a "student discount" of $50). About
six months later he told me I needed my two front teeth capped: that
the price would only go up and that it would be wise to do it now.
I was heading home for a visit, so I asked my uncle the dentist what
he thought. He looked at my teeth and said they looked absolutely fine,
that capping should only be done as a last resort, etc. I switched
dentists and my new dentist agreed after examining my x-rays. So I
recommend getting a second opinion before letting Dr. Green do any
major work.
