I also am a long time contact wearer, of hard lenses, with a severe
astigmatism. And "blind as a bat".

The best lenses and glasses I have ever gotten is from my curent
optometrist, who is Lonnie Harrison. He is located in the South Hills,
across the street from South Hills Village.

Lonnie takes great care to ensure your lenses are as comfortable as they can
be, and is very good at explaining the options/tradoffs of various types of
lenses.

I don't know about his prices, I think they are reasonable - and I think you
will get better, long term care for your eyes than you would from a "glasses
fast" place.

Lonnie's number is 835-7474. His business' name is "Professional Optics".
If you go there, please tell him I recommended his place, he gets a kick out
of that.
