THE PURPOSE OF THIS MESSAGE IS TO WARN PEOPLE AWAY FROM BILL McCLEMENTS
ON COPELAND STREET IN SHADYSIDE.

This guy might be okay if you have a light correction and can wait weeks
for a pair of glasses -- but if you have anything even slightly out of
the ordinary he will:

1. Try to make you believe that you have a terrible handicap which only
HE and HE ALONE can correct 'the right way'

2. Will promise you glasses in a week ("Do you want 'em done right?")
and then find every excuse in the world when you still don't have new
glasses two weeks later

3. Will lead you to believe that he is giving you a price break when in
fact he charges THE SAME as just about any other optician around

4. (if you are female) Will "honey" you to death and patronize you to the
point of homocidal fantasies

5. Will scribble pertinent information about your glasses on a scrap of
paper and then lose it

6. Will NOT return your phone calls

THE GUY IS A SLEAZEBALL AND A JERK. I WENT TO HIM ON JULY 1 AND
ON JULY 25 I STILL DID NOT HAVE A PAIR OF GLASSES.

Moral of the Story: Go to Eyetique on Murray Avenue. They made me a
pair of glasses, with a minus 7 correction (extremely nearsighted) in
two days.
