I highly recommend Dr. Horning of Horning and Dentice, 2 blocks north
of Forbes on Craig St. in Oakland. I've been going to her less than
a year, but I've been *very* impressed with her expertise and thoroughness.
She explains each procedure in detail before she does it, and does some
things I've never had a dentist do before, like routinely measure the
amount of gum covering my teeth, so she can track this at each check-up.

She pays a lot of attention to not causing too much pain if anesthetics
are necessary. Her assistants are professional and friendly.

I had a root canal done, and she referred me to a specialist for the
root canal, itself, but she did an excellent job on the crown work.

Larry
