As a general reply to question one, I would consult (or go to) Eye & Ear
Hospital, connected to Presby.

(1) The best around seems to be Sidney Busis. He has an office in Oakland.
Not great on bedside manner, but he has done wonderful things for my family.
(He's an otolaryngologist.)

Good luck!

Subject: ENT doctor

I went to a good one on Forbes Ave in Oakland across from the
Giant Eagle (makes for easy parking). His name was
	Joseph Zahorchak
	3447 Forbes Ave.
	681-2300
He is part of a joint practice with two other ENTs, I beleive.
He diagnosed and treated my allergy, and the charge for the
office visit was only $15 (including some drugs he gave me).
He did say that the Xrays he took would be covered by my insurance,
which only turned out to be half true.

	Hope this helps,
	Dean
