Dear Dr. Bovik,

This mail would probably have been unnecessary if I had been able to
retrieve the mail from Jeannette Wing (Message 121 in health.hg) with
"headers chiropractor".  I presume this was some failure in your classifying
scheme, which you should remedy.

Herbert Flynn, regretably far away in Oakmont, is worth the trip.  He
knows when he can help you vs. when you need a physician, and when you
need a physician he will make sure you get to see the right one.  When
he says he can help you, in my experience and that of several people
I've sent to him, he can.

I recommend Jeff Cohen and associate at the University Squazre apartments at Fifth and Neville.   His methods are not he traditional 'crack-your-back'
ways.  Please let me know if you are not pleased with them.

like you i'm a runner of hilly terrain, and fortunately free from pain, but
a few of my running friends are not.  maybe it's none of my business, but
from listening to them, i would not recommend a chiropracter.  call me at

I would suggest David Mann, in Swissvale near the Parkway -- 351-2900.
I don't use chiropractors myself, but he is a friend, and I regard him
as competent, honest and conscientious.

I have gone 2 times to a Dr. Flynn in Oakmont (I think that's where he is.)
He charges a mere $15.00/visit, is in his 60's (my guess) and is gentle.
I would highly recommend him.
