Pleasant (about 40 miles from CMU, let me know if you want directions, phone no.). He is the best dentist I have been too, and I am a major coward in this regards. He has also treated much of my family, including younger brother and sister since age 6 or so, with very good results. He does participate in Blue Cross, I don't know about any other insurance plans. Hope you can find someone closer, but if not, it isn't that far (about 50 min trip). The first one, Dr. Jane Soxman, 487-8423, is on Rt. 8 in the North Hills. She is excellent. Mark's pediatrician recommended her. She found 2 large cavities and said a filling wouldn't do --- they needed crowns. So I decided to get a second opinion. She was kind enough to recommend Dr. Neelima Chiniwalla, 776-9033, on Rt. 19 in Cranberry. (She's a Health America dentist.) She came to the same conclusion so I had her do the work because it was cheaper. She was good too. Mark seemed to prefer Dr. Soxman though --- she has two young children of her own. If we drop Health America we'll probably go back to Dr. Soxman. Good luck with your search.
