My experiences with Dr. Melnick were not so pleasant. He charged my
husband several hundred dollars for a "special" cleaning and he told
me that my perfect teeth (no cavities) meant that I actually was at
great risk for decay below the gum line and should come in for work
at least four times a year. This is not what my family dentist ever
told me and the dentist that I am currently seeing also says he's never
heard anything like that and that my teeth are in fine condition.

Dr. Melnick is a very nice man, but I do not trust him. I am NOT saying
that he is dishonest, but that I do not agree with his conclusions. I
have also heard from at least three other people on the net who have had
experiences similar to mine.

I have had almost an identicle experience to Mary's.

Is it possible that this guy rehearses his lines!!

About a year ago I had contact with about six different people who told
almost identicle stories. Dr. Melnick likes to call it "preventive
dentistry". Sounds like a nice way to make a living.
