Since I have many allergies that result in rashes.
am very fair, have had skin cancer, and have had
various other skin problems, I need regular contact 
with a good dermatologist.

If you're from this area, you know about West Penn,
their burn unit, and the various other wonders they do
with skin.  The person I see is in Wechsler's group,
and I cannot recommend him highly enough.
However, he also has another office (I forget where)
and is only in the office below a few days a week.

Directions:  take S. Aiken Avenue, cross Centre & Baum,

in concert with your primary care giver, be that a
g.p. or internist.  If you don't have one of those:

I've gone to Dr. Raymond Goldblum on 5th in Oakland for years.  He's
competent, and (if he knows you're technically oriented) will explain
in detail what's going on (i.e., why your skin is doing what it's
doing).  He's getting a bit old, but still seems fine.
