Subject: Optometrists. (Malinger loses!)

I thought Fred Smith was bad, but here's what Dr Bernard Malinger
pulled: He gives my girl-friend a perscription that's too strong.  She
has the glasses made and can't wear them.  She goes back to him, and
he tells her that the optician made the glasses improperly.  And he
convinces the optician to grind her a new lense to cover up his
mistake.  This didn't cost us anything extra, but it took several trips
back and fourth, and the fact that he would mess up a simple
perscription is scary.
