Phyllis Lewis (SEI 4125) offered to accept used eyeglasses and
pass them on. Her husband is a member of the Irwin Lions Club
and they collect and distribute glasses. If you have glasses
you'd like to donate, get them to me (5130 Wean) this week and
I'll forward them to her or send them to her directly.

Other reported collection points:
The Bookworm/Heads Together shop in Squirrell Hill
	Pearl Express
Optometrist Fred Smith in Squirrel Hill
Glenshaw Vision Associates on Mount Royal Blvd.
	LensCrafters (see below)

Thanks to all who replied! This message will be sent to Bovik.

Give the Gift of Sight ad:

Your old glasses can be someone's most valued possession.

Somewhere in a desk drawer or nightstand you have an old
pair of glasses that you no longer use. They may not have
much value to you. But they could change someone's life
in a developing country by restoring their vision.

Thanks to the Give the Gift of Sight program, sponsored by
LensCrafters and Lions Clubs International, your old glasses
can reach the people who desperately need them.

Just bring your old eyewear to any Lens Crafters store between
Thanksgiving and New Year's. They'll be cleaned, repaired,
classified by prescription, and distributed on a LensCrafters/
Lions Club International mission to Panama next spring.

One-third of the world's population needs eyeglasses, but most
have no hope of affording them. So please, don't wait another
day to take your old glasses to LensCrafters.

Give a priceless gift this holiday season...the gift of sight.
