Subject: House Painter

I had Ernest Tyree (672-1733) paint the interior of my house. The main
reason I got him is that he could come right away. He charges $45/room, but
charges for closets, etc. that others throw in for free, so even though he
is cheaper than regular painters, he wasn't any cheaper than a recommended
friend of a friend.

If you or someone else (in-laws in this case) can continuously watch over
him and his helpers (mainly the helpers), and constantly point out problems,
they'll do okay. Not great, just okay. If you leave them by themselves,
they'll miss spots, get paint on things they shouldn't, cause doors and
windows to stick, etc. It depends on whether you want the hassle in order
to save the money.

Based on the work he did for me and Rick Kazman, he doesn't deserve the
glowing recommendation Roni Rosenfeld gave him.
