Nigel,

We just had our attic insulated by Robert V. Casey, Inc.  I was pleased with
the job they did.  They showed up when scheduled and cleaned up well after they
finished.  The installer even carried some junk, left by the previous owners,
down to the trash for me.  The part of the installation that I can see from the
access door looks very good.  The insulation is spread evenly and to the
correct depth, the roof vents show no signs of leaking even after yesterday's
pouring rain.

I obviously can't give any quantitative evaluation of the of the job yet.
However the 2nd and 3rd floors do seem to be significantly cooler.

We got bids from Casey and Option Insulation.  I choose Casey because they were
almost $200 lower and because I thought the Option estimator was trying to
pressure sell me.
