To any students (and faculty and staff), I want to recommend Jenifer Anzenberger
of Howard Hanna Squirell Hill as a real estate agent.  Jenifer was extrememly
helpfull and patient.  She pointed out good and bad points about all the 
houses we saw, including telling us what was important in a house and what
was less important.  This was especially nice for us as first-time home
buyers.  She was very patient with us.  She wasn't pushy at all 
and did not try to sell us a house for more than we were prepared to pay. 

After we agreed to buy the house she was very helpful in terms of letting
us in to have contractors look at the house for estimates, even to get 
the carpets measured.  We really felt she went out of her way 
to make it all work.

Jenifer has also sold houses to two other CMU grad students and is familiar
with the pitfalls of getting a mortgage with a stipend instead of real income.
The other two were Karen Haigh and Danner Stodolsky.  I can't speak for them,
but we wanted to make a whole-hearted recommendation for her.
