I want to recommend Jerry Lautman and his crew at Mars Construction
for replacing windows.  He took the time to explain a lot about windows
and didn't try to push me to buy more expensive windows than I wanted
to pay for, or to push a particular brand (they will install over a hundred 
types).  Work was done on time (2-3 weeks advance notice, and it took a few
hours to install eight double-hung windows) and exactly at the cost they
said it would be.  The workeres left no mess, and only the bare minimum
of touch-up painting on the moldings and sill. I definitely would use
these folks again. --David
