It is amazing to have seen your series of posts here and on netnews
to see how your experiences have paralled ours (MJ and myself) From
the house closing, to working on various aspects of the house. MJ took
a course in stained glass following the purchase of the
house also... Anyway we used Arch Moore heating to give the furnace a
check, it really didn't need a cleaning but the pilot needed adjustment
and the thermocouple was flaky. We used them because they had installed
the furnace about a year before we bought the house. The did the
adjustments and new thermocouple for no charge. Tomorrow, in fact,
Gary Moore is coming out to our house to look at redoing parts of the
ductwork to make it serve the house a little bit better.

The few times I've talked to them, they've been quick to respond, and
followup. In addition they've kept their word on coming out!

We've been doing a very extensive gut and renovation on our house, where
the bottom two floors are gutted to the timbers. I've been putting
all new wiring, insulation, and some framing for interior walls and
replacements of some rotted sills too. Lots of fun.

I would have recommended our plumber, Joe Brandt, who has been
reccommended in Bovik, but sad to say, he passed away recently. Joe's
wife, however, recommended Johanson (sp?) as a good reliable plumber.
We haven't needed a plumber for a while but will try him next time we
need one.
