Below are two mails, recommending Allegheny Fence, and (possibly) disrecomending
Sears. A stroll through our neighborhood revealed that Allegheny and Sears were
the two most popular sources, along with a lot of noname's. There was one by
McGrady, it was fairly well-made. The sample size is about 20 and the
neighborhood is Regent Square.

I used the Allegheny Fence Co. They make all their own stuff, and they
can make whatever you like. This stuff isn't cheap, but you should
definitely stay away from the Sears Do It Yourself chainlink fencing. The
Allegheny people do a completely solid installation.

I've had fencing installed by:

  Allegheny Fence
    421-6005
  Ask for Craig.

They do good work, and if you have any problems
(in my case I wasn't specific enough),
they come back and fix, adjust, whatever,
anything you don't like, and there's
no additional charge and no hassles.

If you want to finance it,
you could call Sears,
but they subcontract their work out....
I don't know to whom.

In that case, I say plan on being there there the whole time
they're working because getting them to come back
_is_ a hassle.

Tip: You may need a building permit.
You can call the Bureau of Building Inspection
(don't have to give your name) to find out for sure.
