The best source (and the only manufacturer)
of futons in Pittsburgh is Carlisle Mattress Company
on Penn Avenue in 'sliberty.  They sell futons in
three sizes and offer a choice of all cotton or
cotton & foam.  Prices start at $85 for an all cotton
twin size futon.  They'll even make futon covers 
for ten bucks if you supply two sheets.  (They sew 
them together into what the salesman described as
"a giant pillow case" that slips over the futon.)
