The following are in response to my post of 07-Feb-87, which said:

I just checked with Mr. Bovik and he doesn't know anything about
electricians. Does anyone else? I'm interested in recommendations
and disrecommendations. Thanks in advance. I will forward all
	responses to Bovik.

Ask Roberto Bisiani (rb@v). He recently had some electrical work
done on his house.

Sara-
He's not the cheapest (nor the most expensive), but Cliff Caplan does
*EXCELLENT* work. Very neat. A craftsman, not a hacker. 682-2182. Come on
over and look at his work, if you like.

Hi,
I just had a new 200Amp service put in my house and had several
estimates and chose Best Electric because I had heard good things from
people who know the people there. Phone number is 521-1053, Steve Nydes is
the owner and was very helpful in giving the estimate (I'm redoing all my
house wiring) It was about $525 for a complete new service (new grounds,
service wires, breakers, panel etc.)

They were not the lowest bid though, there was one lower but the guy
didn't come out to the house and was very sketchy about what it would
take. I also got bids from K&R Electric, Dave Wessel and one or two
others I can't remember.

hope this helps.

I used Brian Mondics to bring my service up from 100amps to 200amps and
to rewire my entire house. He does good work and is cheap. He works
full time and does side jobs part-time. He knows his stuff and best
of all you can send him email, at mondics@tartan. ....gene

Bob and I have used John Bird, 421-4037. He replaced a fuse box with
breakers not long after we moved into our house (about 3 years ago) and
presumably did a good job, since we haven't had any trouble with it.
