Subject: home inspection - good guy

My wife and I recommend
	Todd Meyer
	247-1767 (home)
	255-8850 (day)
for house inspection. He moonlights as an inspector, working in the day
as for the city as a construction supervisor for Parks and Recreation. He
is a registered architect (in PA). As an avocation, he buys and renovates
old houses on the North Side (he has a column and a half in an article in
Pittsburgh Magazine, April 1990). His experience is vast, and he provided
considerable insight into what we should expect and be prepared for in
buying an older house (this one was built around 1915).

He was wonderful to work with, explaining all that he saw in great detail,
and finding many, many subtleties in the house.

His cost for a written report was $350 [boy have costs gone up since
1987!].
