"Property inspections exceeding ASHI standards"  as well as professional
engineering consultations.

Rus spent 4 hours with me inspecting a house we are buying.  He was very
thorough: capacative moisture content of basement walls and floors, and
wood around foundation, and walls and ceilings suspect of having moisture 
from leaks; CO and combustible gases, from water heater, furnace and gas 
lines; water pressure; &c.  Checked soundness of structure (including looking 
for pests but this was not a pest inspection); condition of windows, siding, 
foundation, &c.  climbed the roof (45 degree pitch) checked shingles, 
flashing, chimneys.  Suggested how long things would last before needing 
attention, and then possible courses of action.  Climbed into a crawlspace 
to check under an addition.  Wiring, plumbing, previous repairs.

I am not easily impressed and I was.  He is a CMU grad (ME'76) with much
additional specific training.  He costs 75% of the going rate if you do the
inspection on evenings or weekends.
