I'm glad that you've had a good experience with Lobos. You are the first
person I have ever heard of who has had one. I'm quite aware that what I
say about Lobos may influence a new renter - that's why I've said it, in
order to let people know of possible problems with them. Decide for
yourselves, of course. :)

Our place would be a lovely home if they kept up very basic
maintenance. The carpets are over 6 years old, and it took 2 years of
repeated asking to get the ripped and cat stained hall carpet replaced
(which they did with tile, thankfully). It took a week to get our toilet
replaced when it died. The house needs repainting very, very badly, and
there are several holes in the hall which have yet to be fixed. The porch
is cracking and falling apart, and the carpet there has been peeling away
for our entire stay here. My fiance had to "remind" them of the
Pennsylvania law dictating that security deposits must be returned within
30 days of move-out in order to receive it back, after he moved out of the
adjacent apartment. When the upstairs apartment had the carpet
replaced, their workmen left the trash on the side of the house, and
only moved it to the street for pickup after repeated phone calls. The
office personnel are snippy and rude, despite my many attempts to be
polite and non-confrontational. All in all, I am very glad to be moving
in four months.
