Subject: Lawnmower sharpening

Thanks for all the responses. There was also considerable
interest in the results, so here's a summary (also sent to Bovik).

        Squirrel Hill Locksmith
            $18 (sharpening and greasing), 2 days, 422-7354
NOTE: now in Ratners's old location.

        Dobosh Service Center
            $25, 5-7 days, 892-2245
            Baldwin Boro

        National Tool Service
            3 weeks, 241-7255
            Wilkinsburg

A TrueValue hardware store on the Miracle Mile, apparently
cheaper and faster than Sq. Hill Locksmith.

It's actually pretty easy to do it yourself:
"Just use any knife sharpener and sharpen the cutting bar.
The blades don't need to be all that sharp in order for it
            to work."

There's also a section in the Yellow Pages for Lawnmower
Repairing; I called a couple of other numbers close to where I
live, but they were perpetually busy.

    Erik.
