I used Move Express to move my stuff to an apartment last month.  They were:

* Cheap:  $45 + $45/hour for a 26 foot truck and two guys to do all the
  lifting.  There were no extra charges.

* Polite.

* Competent.  They took a door off its hinges, maneuvered a huge
  wooden box through the doorway, and put the door back on in under 10
  minutes.  None of my stuff was damaged.

* Very energetic.  They did not walk between the truck and the building;
  they *jogged*.  They worked for 3.5 hours straight, with no breaks.

I used them because Alex Waibel recommended them to me.  My experience was
completely positive; I recommend them without hesitation.  They're listed
in the phone book under "Move Express", 412-782-MOVE.  I heard the company
was started by a CMU graduate, but I haven't verified this.
