I'd like to second Rick Kazman's opinion about Henry Webber and his crew
at Masterbrush for interior painting. They're very good, but not perfect.
I had the wallpaper removed from all the rooms and hallways on two floors
and everything patched and painted. There was lots of patching to do
because the walls in the 70-year old house had apparently never been painted
before. Despite that, things look pretty good, and in some places,
terrific. Henry is very courteous and helpful on picking colors, and
his crew finished the job when they said they would (five days), and left
the place clean. They also met their estimate exactly, which I consider
a good thing for such a large job. And although some details were not perfect,
the estimate was about half of what Carl Mackiewicz figured. Here the
difference was in the thousands, and I'm still not sure why. But I'd
use Masterbrush again.
