Unfortunately, I had the displeasure of working with two bad realtors. I
was so happy when the closing was finished, because I could finally get these
people out of my life. Our agent was Sandra Robinson of Cooper/Northwood.
She is inefficient, inexperienced, and downright wifty. She STILL has one of
the keys to our house, nearly a week after the closing, and hasn't made the
effort to get it to us despite frequent calls.

The listing agent was Helen Eaton of Howard Hanna, Sq. Hill. She plays the
cute old lady, but I really think she's a snake. She delayed getting the
signed sales contract from the sellers (who were in Florida) to us. Instead we
got a fax of a signed letter from the sellers stating they accepted our offer.
She kept telling me for two weeks that they had sent it by regular first-class
mail, and that it was delayed. I think what was actually happenning was she
pocketted our offer and continued to shop the house around. When we
negotiated to have a few things fixed, she said that they were getting
a backup offer that was going to be higher than our price (baloney). When we
finally got the signed sales contract, it was dated significantly after the
date when she told me "it was in the mail." If you want a clever, deceitful
agent to sell your house, maybe she's the one. But if you have to deal with
her as a buyer, get a lawyer.
