I just used Ackerman Tree Service to have an apple tree removed. This guy
was great! However, I'm sure my experience was bit anomalous. I called
from my office to get a quote, and half an hour later he was standing in my
yard checking it out. He had some extra time that day, so he immediately
did the job. Remote control yard maintenance :-).

Anyway, he did a wonderful job because he picked up almost all the apples
lying around my yard, and he carefully extracted the dipole antennas I had
tied off to the tree in a couple places. I didn't expect him to pick up all
the apples since it really wasn't part of removing the tree, and I'm sure it
took him noticeable extra time. This is the reason I had the damn thing
removed.

They say dangerous and difficult trees are their specialty, but removing
this 20' apple tree was probably far from that domain.
