William,

    I elected to go for the PGHP (Penn Group Health Plan) rather
than the default BC/BS. My experience has been good, but then I'm
a pretty healthy guy. I've been to the PGHP twice: once for a
routine checkup, performed by a very competent and pleasant nurse
practitioner, and once for a bad case of poison oak. The former
appointment was made a month or so ahead of time, the latter 3 hours
ahead of time. I.e., I got immediate response when I needed it.
