There is a privately owned sewing supply store in the Fox Chapel Plaza
(at the corner of Freeport and Fox Chapel Roads -- take the Highland
Park Bridge to Route 28 North; the Plaza is opposite the mouth of the
Fox Chapel exit).  They carry a good selection of patterns, notions and
fabrics as well as knitting supplies.  They also carry folkloric patterns
(a line of peasant and period fashion wear).
