While Parkvale Savings does offer (possibly) the most attractive terms for checking accounts, it does have one major problem. Their MAC card is only good in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware; they are not on the Plus or Cirrus networks. Nor do they have plans to join either network. So even though I just switched to Parkvale, it looks like I'll have to open an account at another bank so I can keep using my MAC card outside Pittsburgh. ----------
