East-End Co-op (almost unanimous fave choice)
Goldenseal
National Health and Nutrition
Strip District (Italian place for sausage, cheese; Greek place
   for herbs; vegetables; Wholley's for meats;
   many other things i.e., candy)
Help-your-self in Monroeville
health food stores
Farmer's Market in E. Liberty
Greenfield Giant Eagle (maybe)

for coffee:  La Prima, Green Grocer, Braun's Emporium

    For coffee, I would add Nicholas' (one location is Market Square in
    town on Market Place, another was at Say Cheese 
    on Forbes Ave. in Sq Hill) and 
    PrestoGeorges at 1728 Liberty in the strip district where they seem
    to do multiple roasts each day.
