Folks, For reasons I won't go into, I had a number of 4'x8'x6" styrofoam
slabs which I wanted to get rid of. I called G.R.I.P. about recycling this
stuff and they suggested calling Mailboxes, Etc. I called the branch in
Monroeville and spoke with the manager. The good news is that Mailboxes is
connected into some national styrofoam recycling program. They will take
styrofoam (peanuts, sheets, packing, and even slabs :-) and recycle it into
sheet packing material which Mailboxes, Etc. later uses.

Some locations will be less willing to take the material because of storage
space limitations, so please call and make sure that the branch nearest you
will accept your material. The Monroeville branch is rather large, so they
would even take my slabs. The number for this branch is 856-9818.
