Subject: Overnight delivery on Sunday

Beware the caveat at the bottom of this message....

If you're ever trying to meet a Monday deadline on Sunday, the Post
Office's Express Mail is a place to try. Given that you're trying to send a
bunch of papers to arrive on Monday, and you've missed the FedEx Saturday
5:00pm deadline, the Post Office is by far the cheapest. Of the half dozen
places I checked, most charged $200 for next/same day delivery, USAir
charged $52, but Express Mail was only $13.95! They will accept packages
for delivery 7 days a week, including Sunday.

Just drive the package to Cargo Area 1, approximately 3 traffic
lights past the *old* airport on business route 60. They're actually open
24 hours (they say), but only guarantee next day if you get it there by
7:00pm.

	****HOWEVER****

I wasn't able to verify that the four packages I sent arrived the
next day. Also, someone else who tried it found they did *not* deliver the
package on Monday, which caused him much difficulty. Worse, noone at the
Post Office was willing to treat this as a serious problem. Their attitude
was apparently that missing the one-day deadline was no big deal.

But it's an option to consider: $14 for 1 or 2 day delivery, $52 for
1 day delivery.
