I use Mitch McKinney of Buckler&McKinney as my Income
Tax Accountant. He is a little pricey (about $350) but
I believe he has saved me money every year compared to
me doing my own return.

The reason to use an accountant seems to be to advoid
IRS audits. My experience, and that of my family and
friends is that most accountants will eliminate 80% of
the audits. They also handle IRS questions etc. One 
friend (with lots of unusual deductions) has found that
one can completely eliminate IRS audits and questions 
by paying $1000 to $2000 to a big 8 accounting firm.
The big accounting firms do no more but the IRS just
doesn't audit a return from say Coopers and Lyebrandt.

We moved three times, bought a house, and got married (not in that
order) this last year.  The guy we have handle this stuff is Ted
Thimons in Allison Park, just off Rte 8 past Glenshaw Glass.  His
number is 487-0404.  He's fast (I have all my records in order) and
reasonably priced.

I've been using my neighbor, Mitch McKenney, for several years and am
quite pleased with him.  My taxes are fairly complex, and he has saved
me a lot of headache, and has saved me money on taxes as well.  I have
recommended him to other people in SCS, and they have been pleased, as
well.  His office is in Monroeville, 856-7880.

Robert Goldstein, in Squirrel Hill, is excellent, hassle-free and reasonably
priced.  We have used him for several years and we are quite satisfied with
him.  His office is on Wilkins (Wilkins and Shady, if I remember correctly);
you should be able to find him in the Yellow Pages under CPA's.
