Hi Harry,
In case your ever in need of a personal injury or workers compensation
lawyer, Barry Simpson did a super and very professional job representing
my wife when she was injured and had to have surgery. What really impressed
me was how well he explained the entire litigation/settlement process to
us, how he keep us updated with letters and phone calls as the case progressed,
and especially his help in negotiating a settlement instead of going to
court, which we wanted to avoid. If you ever need a lawyer to handle a
serious or big problem, I'd talk to him.
He can be reached at the downtown office of Ecker, Rome & Simpson.
Phone 281-2750. It's a small firm with 3 or 4 attorneys, not one of these
mega-firms. I think their standard contingency fee is 40% in case you
want to shop around, but you could always ask if they will do it for 33 1/3%
if you have a good case. In any event, the fee is worth it when you
figure 100% of 0 is still 0.
