Subject: zip code answer

I had two replies to my question re. zip codes.
Thanks very much to Mark Kantrowitz and Scott Robinson.

From Mark Kantrowitz:
====================

Zip codes are in the plain text file

/afs/cs.cmu.edu/user/mkant/Guide/ZipCode/zipcode.txt

Note that some entries contain ranges of zipcodes:
	15200-15244:Pittsburgh, PA

and from Scott Robinson:
=======================

You can also find them in /afs/ece/usr/shr/bin/zipcode
Manual entry /afs/ece/usr/shr/man/man1/zipcode.1

Database
	zcat /afs/ece/usr/shr/lib/misc/zipcode.txt.Z | more
