US Post office does 2-3 day shipments.  I sent about 15 lbs.
this way for about 1/2 of Fed Ex.
It's similar to their normal overnight, plus a very
brief customs declaration.

Hi, I'll bet that some of the extra hassle and paperwork is because of
the international border crossing involved; if it was domestic, there
would be no trouble.

p.s. try calling "Mailboxes Etc. USA" over on S.Craig St., they can tell
you on the phone about all the different shipping companies that they
deal with.

I used Air Express International in the other direction once (Munich to
Massachusetts), and don't recall filling out a mountain of forms.
They're in the phone book (White Pages) here.  (Oops, I already put it
away, so no number.)
