HOW TO PREPARE MATERIALS
========================

Glass Bottles and Jars:
  * Wash
  * Remove lids and metal rings
  * Color separate
  * Labels may remain

Black and White or with Color Newspaper:
  * Tie with cord or place in paper bags
  * No glossy sections

Office Paper:
  * Ask the center for types of paper accepted and requirements

Aluminum and Bi-Metal Cans:
  * rinse and separate

Tin Cans:
  * rinse and remove labels
  * remove bottoms, tuck both ends into can, and flatten

Plastics (PET = pop bottles or HD = milk jugs, detergent, etc.):
  * rinse
  * remove caps and lids
  * separate PET from HD bottles

Metals:
  * scrap metals must be in workable lengths < 6 ft.
  * doors and windows must have glass panes removed
  * metals may not be rusty

Oil:
  * must be in a secure, screw-top container
